Staff Nurse (Full Time) – Med Surg
Provides patient care by administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Collaborates with various disciplines, including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, laboratory services, and pharmacy, to ensure comprehensive care. Engages professionally in all aspects of patient care. Must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with at least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience. Requires a current Louisiana LPN or RN license, along with current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS. PALS certification is preferred.
PACU Nurse (Full Time) – PACU
Provides intensive observation and care for the post-operative patient for which an anesthetic agent or conscious sedation was used. Maintains patient documentation. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors). Minimum of 1-year PACU Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
OR Technician (Full Time & PRN) – Surgery
Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products, specimens, X-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technology institute. Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred within 120 days of hire or equivalent experience in lieu of CST certification. BLS certification required.
OR Nurse (PRN) – Surgery
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Marketing Representative (Part Time) – Administration
The Marketing Representative is responsible for promoting the products and services of Lake Surgical Hospital through both verbal and written communication. This role focuses on building and increasing referrals to specific services while fostering strong relationships with physicians and their staff. The representative will also play a key role in enhancing physician awareness through ongoing outreach initiatives. A Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree in Marketing, along with at least 2 years of related experience, is preferred.
Food Services Manager (Temporary) – Dietary/EVS
Provides management for the Dietary and Housekeeping Departments. Directs and assists the preparation and serving of regular meals and diets, oversees food and supply orders and maintains area and equipment in sanitary condition. Ensures quality food. Responsible for the cleaning, planning, organizing, development and direction for the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department. Assists with training, coaching, and developing of the housekeeping staff. Completion of an approved dietary manager’s course that meets the state regulations. EVS past experience and knowledge of industry skills required. Two years experience required. Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
Receptionist
The receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient records. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. Prior experience in a medical office preferred.
Cook (PRN) – Dietary
Ensures the preparation and service of meals for patients and cafeteria patrons in compliance with all established sanitation and hygiene standards. Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas. Provides support in inventory management and stocking supplies. A minimum of three years of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
