Maintenance Technician / Maintenance (Full Time)
Functions as a mechanic in performing general maintenance and repair of the facility, its utilities, equipment, and machinery used in the hospital, as well as performing mechanical, carpentry and painting duties. Works with the Facilities Manager to ensure optimal functionality of systems including mechanical, fire/life safety, etc. Minimum of 2 to 5 years of progressive experience and experience and responsibility in a maintenance field. Basic mechanical aptitudes and a working knowledge of electrical and maintenance systems. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills. Possess ability to read blue print and schematic diagrams.
Medical Laboratory Scientist (Full Time) - Lab
Performs testing primarily in accordance with established laboratory policy and procedure. Primary responsibilities include performing and evaluating analytical tests. Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Science program. Six months experience as a Technician/Technologist in a lab. Current certification or registration for MLT/MT (ASCP) required. Valid and current State of Louisiana license as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist or Temporary License; pending completion of licensure application. Current certification in Basic Life Support required.
PACU Nurse (Full Time) – PACU
Provides intensive observation and care for the post-operative patient for which an anesthetic agent or conscious sedation was used. Maintains patient documentation. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors). Minimum of 1-year PACU Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
Collector (Full Time) – Business Office
The Collector performs daily activities associated with the timely collection and resolution of accounts receivable, including patient collection activities. This involves tasks such as placing phone calls, mailing statements and letters, securing payment arrangements, responding to patient inquiries, drafting appeal letters, and verifying payment accuracy. The Collector is responsible for collections and denial management, ensuring appropriate actions are taken on assigned accounts promptly for positive resolution. They maintain responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of daily follow-up or denial account assignments. This role requires three years of related experience.
