Why does Dr. Jimmy Redmann use Senhance?
First, the Senhance® Surgical System offers the least invasive robotic-assisted surgery available. It also enhances Dr. Jimmy Redmann's senses during minimally invasive surgery. The system features a digital interface between the surgeon and patient to enhance minimally invasive surgery. This technique is called Digital Laparoscopy. The surgeon controls small surgical instruments (which are smaller in diameter than a pencil) with precision and a enhanced control. Dr. Jimmy Redmann also benefits from force feedback and monitoring which monitors and limits excess forces generated during surgery. In addition, a small camera is controlled inside the body by tracking the surgeon's eye movements on a 3D display. The goal of using this technology is to support the surgeon with state-of-the-art tools that provide control during surgery while reducing the invasiveness of surgery and improving recovery. The Senhance System includes 3-mm diameter instruments, which can be used to perform surgery with a virtually scarless approach

What is Digital Laparoscopy with the Senhance Surgical System?
The Senhance® Surgical System is used across a wide variety of procedures in Bariatric, Colorectal, Gynecology, and General Surgery.
