Medical Lab Tech (Full Time 7 nights on/7 nights off & PRN WKD Days) - LAB
Perform testing primarily in accordance with established laboratory policy and procedure. Primary responsibilities include performing and evaluating analytical tests. Associate degree (A.A.) in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program. Six months experience as a Technologist in a lab. Current certification or registration as an MLT (ASCP), CLT (NCA) or equivalent Valid and current State of Louisiana license as a Medical Lab Technologist. Phlebotomy skills required.
OR Technician (Full Time/PRN) – Surgery

Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products, specimens, X-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technology institute. Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred within 120 days of hire or equivalent experience in lieu of CST certification. BLS certification required.
OR Nurse (Full Time) – Surgery
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Staff/ ICU RN (Full Time & Part Time Nights) – Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors).Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg Nursing experience and 1 year ICU experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current CPR and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Sterile Processing Tech (Full Time) – Surgery
Responsible for assisting in a smooth flow of events before, during and after the surgical procedure for all patients. Assists in overseeing the surgical instrumentation and supplies according to AORN recommended guidelines and universal precautions to decontamination and sterilization, surgical care case preparation and distribution. Practices in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and medical policies. High school graduate. One year surgery, medical office, or sanitary maintenance experience. CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification preferred.
Pain Management Nurse (PRN) – Pain Management
Performs and/or coordinates the pre-op assessment & education, provides moderate sedation under the direction of procedural physician, and evaluates & monitors patient post-procedure. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors). Minimum of 3 years nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification.
Inventory Clerk (Full Time) - Surgery
Responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling surgical instruments and equipment. Also responsible for sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred.
Pre-Op Nurse (PRN)–Pre-Op
Responsibility to formulate and execute the nursing care for patients of all ages in the Pre-Op area to ensure the patient receives the highest quality of care, and their safety is ensured according to policy and procedure. Performs thorough and accurate continual patient assessment, anticipating potential problems and reporting pertinent assessments to the anesthesiologist, supervisor, and/or surgeon appropriately. Prepares patients for surgery by providing pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum 1 year Pre-Op Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN License, current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
